The Crestview Middle School girls' basketball teams swept past Churubusco on Thursday, Feb. 2, with the seventh grade team winning 47-12 and the eighth-graders triumphing 36-24.
Improving to 5-4, the CMS seventh-graders were led by Kylie Kaylor and Ariene Butler, both of whom scored 13 points. Kinzie Estep added seven points and Maddi Houser had six.
Butler also pulled down nine rebounds, while Kelsey Vogleman had seven rebounds.
The Cougar eighth grade girls were paced by Marissa Jamsion with 11 points and Madi Canady with nine.
They also improved their record to 5-4.
