There were strong showings by several Etna Acres members during the ladies' invitational at Etna Acres Golf Course on Thursday, July 19, that was attended by 50 ladies from 12 different clubs.

The best low gross actual score belonged to JoDee Dale from Etna Acres at 84. Sheila DeLongchamp of Marion Elks came in second with 87. Robin Peconge of Canterbury also shot an 87, but came in third. Jessica Pegg of Etna Acres came in sixth with a score of 91.

Myrna Loe of Peru Municipal had the best low net score, minus handicap, at 63. Cheryl Anderson of Canterbury came in second with a score of 64. In third, with a score of 67, was Sandi Kastner of Etna Acres. Pam Clark of Etna Acres came in sixth with a score of 72 and Cecelia Smith, also of Etna Acres, came in 10th with a score of 76.
