The Huntington North High School girls' varsity golf team shot a 422 to secure sixth place among the 10 teams participating in the Huntington North Lady Viking Invitational on Thursday, Aug. 2.
Sarah Fryman was the low scorer for the host Lady Vikings with a 102.
Maddi Kennedy and Lauren McCullough contributed to the HNHS cause with identical scores of 105. Alex Stanley shot a 110.
Bishop Dwenger won the invitational by a score of 343. Marion came in second with a score of 355, led by Kayla Adamson, the invitational's low scorer at 77. Homestead placed third at 368. Wawasee scored 391 for fourth, narrowly edging Concordia, which scored 403 for fifth.
