The Huntington North High School girls' varsity golf team shot a 423 and finished seventh out of 13 teams at the Lady Giant Invitational hosted by Marion on Monday, Aug. 6.
Sophomore Maddi Kennedy shot a 99 to lead the way for the Lady Vikings.
Behind Kennedy were freshman Sarah Fryman with a 104, senior Alex Stanley with a 108 and junior Lauren McCullough with a 112.
Gabrielle Malone was the non-scorer with a 125.
Marion won the invitational with a score of 339. Bishop Dwenger placed second with a 352. Third through fifth was tight with Pendleton Heights, Southwood and Lapel shooting 381, 385 and 386, respectively. Peru finished sixth with a 398.
Morgan Nadaline, of Anderson, was the invitational's low scorer with a 70.
