Despite two goals by Isaac Wust, the Huntington North High School boys' soccer team fell to host Fort Wayne Snider, 4-2, in its season-opener on Tuesday, Aug. 14.
Wust, a senior coming back after missing most of last year with a knee injury, scored a goal in each half, but Snider put three in the net in the first half and had an insurance tally in the second half.
Mitch Mullins and Barik Hiple each had an assist for HNHS, which got seven saves from goalie Chad Wingo.
The Huntington North junior varsity squad also lost its season-opener, falling 1-0.
