Three Vikes get goals as soccer team beats Columbia City

The Huntington North High School boys' varsity soccer team got three goals from three different players and beat host Columbia City, 3-1, on Saturday, Sept. 1.

Goal-scorers for the Vikings, 3-3, were Barik Hiple, Isaac Wust and Dylan Wilson, with assists by Mitchel Schneider, Tyler Henline and Wust, respectively.

Goalkeeper Chad Wingo recorded three saves.

Columbia City got the first goal of the contest but Hiple knotted things at 1-all off a Schneider assist. Wust scored his 11th goal of the season to put the Vikings ahead, and then he fed Wilson for the third goal of the half.
