Senior Trey Bowling scored a pair of goals and goalie Chad Wingo made them stand up as the Huntington North High School boys' soccer team defeated visiting Wawasee, 3-1, on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Bowling scored both of his goals in the first half to give the Vikings a 2-0 lead at halftime. Tyler Henline upped the Viking lead to 3-0 with a second half goal on the way to the team improving to 4-3 on the season.

Wingo, a junior, made seven saves on the day in the HNHS goal.

Jordan Gilliam had the assist on the first Bowling goal, and Barik Hiple had the assist on the second. Trey Sorg had the assist on Henline's goal.
