Riverview 8 gridders beat Crestview, 20-12

A potent rushing attacking led by Matt Guhl and Noah Kitt wasn't enough to lift the Crestview eighth grade football team over Riverview on Thursday, Aug. 30, as the Cougars fell, 20-12.

Guhl had 96 yards rushing and a score and Kitt had 67 yards rushing and a score.

Pat Miller passed for 78 yards and Trevor Szelis had 69 yards receiving.

On defense, Guhl and Miller tied for the team lead in tackles with 3.5.
