The Huntington University women's soccer team took the early lead on host Cornerstone University but couldn't maintain it, losing 2-1 on Saturday, Sept. 8.

Brittany Hartman found the back of the net for the Foresters, 3-1, in the game's first half. She was assisted by Lisa Underwood.

Cornerstone responded in the second half with goals from Morgan Vance and Riley Steen and goalkeeper Kathy Butt shutout Huntington the rest of the way to preserve the win.
