The Huntington North High School girls' golf team shot its lowest score of the season on Thursday, Sept. 13, to split a three-way meet with Marion and Blackford at LaFontaine Golf Course.

The Lady Vikings had three girls crack 50 to score a 195, good enough to defeat Blackford, which shot a 228, but not enough to catch Marion, which shot a 179.

Maddi Kennedy shook off a recent slump to lead the Lady Vikes with a 46, and Alex Stanley and Sarah Fryman were right there with scores of 47 and 48, respectively. Lauren McCullough completed the HNHS scoring with a 54.

Gabrielle Malone was non-scorer with a 67.

Kayla Adamson of Marion was the day's medalist with a 36.
