Four wins in straight sets helped the Huntington North High School boys' varsity tennis team to a 4-1 win over Anderson on Saturday, Sept. 15.

Aaron Gilmore cruised to a 6-2, 6-4 win over Matt Harter at first singles, Tommy Bolinger did the same to Nick Whittaken at second singles, 6-2, 6-2 and Wyatt Nave and Cameron Buzzard followed suit in their first doubles match over Jason Kabir and Joe Moran, 6-4, 6-2.

Matt Sieberns was pressured by Connor Hall in the third singles match, but held on for a 6-3, 7-6 (6-2) victory.

Andrew Smith and Dylan Baumgartner were similarly pressured by Jake Fox and Zack Abbott in their first doubles match, but couldn't come up with the win, falling 6-7 (5-7), 1-6.

In junior varsity action, Nathan Lundy and Hunter Phillips beat Chase Short and Nick Brown, 6-3.
