The Huntington North High School varsity volleyball team was swept by New Castle, 6-25, 13-25, 7-25, on Saturday, Sept. 15.

Senior Alexis Wygant led the Lady Vikings, 9-9, in kills, with four, and digs, with seven.

Freshman Alexa Hill led the team in assists, with six.

Three Lady Vikings had double-digit kills and the Huntington North High School varsity volleyball team edged host Richmond, 25-11, 32-34, 25-15, 25-19, on Saturday, Sept. 15.

Juniors Jessie Drew and Josie Beaver had 12 and 11 kills, respectively, and senior Alexis Wygant added another 10 for Huntington North.

Senior Allyson Trout racked up 25 assists and junior Mikayla Carpenter had 22 digs.
