HU netmen lose to Grace 3-6

The Huntington University men's tennis team lost to visiting Grace College, 3-6, on Tuesday, Sept. 25.

Vlad Khudziy at first singles and Diego Inurritegui at fourth got singles wins for HU, 3-6 overall and 3-4 in Crossroads League play. Inurritegui was a double winner on the day as he teamed with Joseph Straznicky at second doubles to defeat Aaron Blevins and David Sanchez.

Khudziy topped Sanchez, 6-4, 6-3, while Inurritegui took down Aaron Blevins, 5-7, 6-4 (10-6).

The doubles team won 8-6.

Jose Hungria at second singles lost to Michael Blevins, 7-6, 4-6, 1-6; Straznicky at third singles lost to Nik Todorovic, 4-6, 6-1, 2-6; Zakk Sparks at fifth singles was blanked by Michael Humphrey, 0-6, 0-6; and Arjun Bhalla at sixth singles fell to Jack Wang, 1-6, 1-6.
Khudziy and Hungria lost at first doubles to Michael Blevins and Todorovic, 3-8, and Sparks and Jacob Cross lost at third doubles to Wang and Humphrey, 1-8.
