Host Bishop Luers outscored the Huntington North High School boys' soccer team in both halves of their game on Thursday, Sept. 27, as the Vikings lost 5-2.
Luers took a 2-1 lead into halftime and expanded the margin to 5-1 before HNHS star Isaac Wust got the final goal of the afternoon to bring the Vikings, 8-5-1, a step closer.
Mitchel Schneider got the Vikings' first goal off an assist from Barik Hiple, and Hiple also had a foot in Wust's goal as well.
Despite giving up the five goals to the 15-1-1 Knights, goalie Chad Wingo had a big day with 15 saves.
