Khudziy, Hungria key HU men's tennis win

Vlad Khudziy and Jose Hungria teamed up for a doubles shutout and both had singles wins as well to lead the Huntington University men's tennis team past visiting Indiana Tech, 6-3, on Saturday, Sept. 29.

Khudziy and Hungria put an 8-0 whitewash on Fernando Gonzalez and Vinicius Silva at first doubles before Khudziy stopped Gonzalez at first singles, 6-4, 6-3, and Hungria beat Nicholas Tripaman at second singles, 6-2, 7-5.

Joseph Straznicky was also a double winner for HU, 5-6, as he teamed with Diego Innuritegui at second doubles for an 8-5 win over Tripaman and Albetro Tenias, then beat Tenias at third singles, 6-4, 6-2.

Arujun Bhalla st sixth singles got the final HU win, sneaking past Clayton Northey, 7-6, 7-6.

Innuritegui at fourth singles fell to Seiram Aranganatha, 6-4, 2-6, (7-10), and Zakk Sparks at fifth singles lost to Silva, 3-6, 4-6.

Sparks and Bhalla lost to Aranganatha and Northey at third doubles, 3-8.
