Both offense, deffense contiribute to Viking JV win

The Huntington North High School junior varsity football team got touchdowns from its offense and defense and blasted host Muncie Central, 32-6, on Saturday, Sept. 29.

The Vikings, 5-2, translated big plays on defense into points, with Colt Ropp recovering a fumble and returning it 85 yards for a score, and Wyatt Cocklin taking an interception 25 yards back to the house. Steven Delatorre also grabbed an interception.

Huntington North's offense held up its end of the bargain with a touchdown pass from Denver Burkely to Elliot Forth and touchdown runs by Adam Woods and Charleston Dydasco, who also had a two-point conversion.
