HU volleyball team falls to Marian

The Huntington University volleyball team managed to avoid a sweep, but not defeat, at the hands of visiting Marian University on Friday, Oct. 19.

The loss, 18-25, 17-25, 26-24, 22-25, drops the Foresters' record to 4-20 and 2-13 in Crossroads League play.

The team's offensive load was divided between Kaylee Searles, who had nine kills, and Brittany Rooze and Heather Medich, who had eight apiece.

Searles and Rooze also came up big on the defensive end, with 15 digs and 12 digs, respectively.

Assists for the game came off the hands of Codie Morey, with 22, and Jensen Carnahan, with 15.
