HU men harriers fifth at Crossroads League championships

The Huntington University men's cross country team finished fifth with a score of 121 at the Crossroads League championship at Indiana Wesleyan University on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Tyler Herber finished first for the Foresters in 26:35, good for 15th place overall. Lance Wood was close behind, crossing the finishing line in 26:32 for 17th place. Teammate Brian Menzie was next, who ran a personal record time of 26:33 to make 18th place.

Antonio Castillo took 37th place in 27:12 and Josh Graham made 45th in 27:26 to round out the team's scoring.

Ethan Medley finished in 27:55 for 62nd, Matt Bittner in 28:25 for 67th, Isaiah Laatsch in 29:09 for 80th, Alan Huffman in 29:50 for 90th and Josh McIntyre in 30:40 for 96th to complete the team.

Indiana Wesleyan scored 32 points to win the championship for the second-consecutive year. Spring Arbor University finished second with 51 points, Goshen University took third with 60 and Taylor University placed fourth with 115.
