Hunter Holloway pushed the Crestview Middle School eighth grade boys' basketball team to a 2-0 start with a 25-17 win over visiting Lakeview on Thursday, Nov. 15.

Holloway scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Ben Bentz added four points to the Cougars' cause.

In the seventh grade game, Crestview fell 44-30.

Ian McCutcheon led the team with 10 points. Mason Landrum scored six points to go with four rebounds and Collin Landrum tallied the same amount of points. Mitchell McElhaney contributed four points to the team's offensive effort and grabbed as many rebounds.

The team's record stands at 1-1.
