The Huntington North High School boys' varsity bowling team defeated Jay County at Portland in the Hoosier Conference Baker Position Round on Wednesday, Dec. 5.

A.J. Bickel, Trent Kline, Tyler Krepp, Adam Harris-Shoemaker and Zac Tackett bowled the conference-leading Vikings to an 8-2 win over the Patriots. The team produced scores of 169, 204, 193, 167, 217, 168, 213, 201, 181 and 204. Huntington North topped Jay County in pinfall, 1,917-1,753.

In junior varsity action, the Vikings swept South Adams.

Cole Boyd, Chad Kramer, Jon Scott and Kyle Wallenburg rolled the team to the 10-0 victory over the Starfires. Huntington North won by scores of 169, 159, 166, 186, 129, 151, 187, 165, 147 and 173. The Vikings won the pinfall battle, 1,632-1,108.
