Three pins and a technical fall among five victories highlighted the night for the Huntington North High School varsity wrestling team as it lost to visiting Prairie Heights, 54-26 on Thursday, Dec. 6.

Seniors Dakota Plasterer and Josh Danals at 170 and 220 pounds, respectively, and sophomore heavyweight Shawn Renz got the pins for the Vikings, while junior Kyle Jolas kept himself undefeated on the season with a tech fall at 145 pounds by a score of 17-2.

Senior Ian Hiers got the remaining HNHS win, clipping his foe 3-2 at 138.

All five of the Vikings losses on the mat came from pin. Sophomore Alex Beal at 126, sophomore Tanner Shipley at 132, senior Lane Hoeppner at 152, senior Sean Reynolds at 182 and sophomore Layne Emery at 195 were all stuck to the mat by their foes.

Once again, the Vikings had to forfeit at the three lowest weights.
