Viking bowlers best Norwell

The Hoosier Conference-leading Huntington North High School boys' varsity bowling team clashed with second place Norwell at Decatur on Thursday, Jan. 3, and emerged victorious, winning 12-8.

Zac Tackett rolled a 210 for the Vikings in the first game. Tyler Krepp followed with a 187, Jon Scott spun a 164, A.J. Bickel got a 149 and Adam Harris-Shoemaker had a 136. The team won three of five games and bested Norwell in pin fall, 846 to 775, to win five bonus points.

Harris-Shoemaker led Huntington North in the second game with a 184, followed by Tackett's 162, Trent Kline's 160, Krepp's 150 and Cole Boyd's 119. The Vikings fell short on pin fall by seven, but won four out of five games.
