The Crestview Middle School girls' seventh grade basketball team edged Riverview by a point, 18-17, on Monday, Jan. 21.

Rileigh Johnson led the Cougars, 6-2, with six points. Sid Kyle added five points and four rebounds to the team's cause and Karmen Koch had four points and seven boards.

The eighth grade team defeated Riverview, 36-24.

Aubrie Eckert paced Crestview, 4-4, with 12 points. Jennifer Bartels chipped in with eight points and nine rebounds and Kylie Kaylor came up with six points and seven boards.
