CMS girls sweep Wabash

The Crestview Middle School girls' eighth grade basketball team blasted host Wabash, 36-18, on Thursday, Feb. 7.

Ariene Butler led the Cougars, 7-5, with 13 points, five rebounds and six steals. Kenzie Estep provided seven points to the team's cause, Kylie Kaylor supplied six points and five rebounds and Jennifer Bartels came up with four points.

The seventh grade team was active on the boards and defeated Wabash 24-16.

Hollyn Anderson scored 10 points and pulled down six rebounds for Crestview, 9-3.

Sydney Kyle collected a team-high seven rebounds, Peyton Butler tossed in six points and had three boards, Rileigh Johnson delivered six points, Karmen Koch produced two points to go with five rebounds, and Emily Johnson and Megan Gilpin each had three boards.
