CMS 7 girls lose squeaker

The Crestview Middle School girls' seventh grade basketball team lost a squeaker to visiting Edgewood in the Northeast Lakes Middle School Conference tournament, 32-30, on Thursday, Feb. 28.

Rileigh Johnson led the Cougars, 14-5, with 11 points. Karmen Koch contributed nine points and five rebounds to the team's cause, Megan Gilpin supplied eight points and six boards and Hollyn Anderson added three assists.

The eighth grade team lost 34-21.

Crestview, 10-9, got eight points from Kylie Kaylor, five from Aubrie Eckert and eight rebounds from Ariene Butler.
