YSB hosting ‘5K 4 Kids’ fund-raiser on April 27

The Youth Services Bureau of Huntington County is hosting a "5K 4 Kids" fund-raiser on April 27.
The race will begin at 9 a.m. at the Youth Services Bureau, located at 1344 Maple Drive, Huntington.
The event ends when all runners have returned to the YSB or at 11 a.m.
Participants who register before Thursday, April 11, will receive a free T-shirt. Additional T-shirts will be available the day of the event at a cost.
Awards will be given to the first place male and female in each of the following age groups, 12 and under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-55, and ages 55 or older. The overall male and female winners will receive a trophy.
All proceeds from the 5K 4 Kids will go to support the programs and services offered by the Youth Services Bureau. Safe Place/Host Homes, Teen Court, Empowering Parents, Skills for Life, Conflict Mediation and Suicide Prevention are just a few of the 17 programs offered.
This 5K event is sponsored by Parkview Huntington Hospital, Solid Rock United Methodist Church and Faith Chapel United Methodist Church.
Registrations can be picked up at the office Monday through Friday 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. or by visiting www.ysbofhuntingtonco.org.
