Ogle's crown leads HU women at Spartan Classic

Cendall Ogle's championship in the 800-meter run was the highlight of the day for the Huntington University women's track and field team at the Spartan Classic hosted by Manchester University on Saturday, April 20.

Ogle clocked in at 2:19.60 for her third title in as many meets.

Krista Wood had the next-best finish for the Foresters with a second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 12:12.95.

Brianna Gregory took third in long jump with a bound of 4.85 meters, and the 400-meter relay team of Alyssa Haselby, Shana Chrstian, Kim Elser and Gregory also took third, in :52.73.

Hannah Moore had the remaining top five finish for HU with a fourth in the 1,500-meter run in 5:02.79.
