Huntington University has expanded its partnership with the Fort Wayne TinCaps by sponsoring the picnic pavilion at Parkview Field.

HU began its partnership with Fort Wayne minor league baseball in 2001, beginning with the Wizards and following the team's move to Parkview Field as the TinCaps. HU has sponsored foul poles and outfield signs and has hosted a 300-person student orientation event each year.

"We are excited to be able to showcase Huntington University in such a unique way within the ballpark," says Jeff Berggren, senior vice president for enrollment management and marketing. "TinCaps baseball is a true family friendly activity, and Parkview Field has one of the best fan experiences in the nation.  Huntington loves to partner with high-quality organizations and the TinCaps certainly meet that standard."

"It is a breath of fresh air to work with like-minded, Christ-centered individuals that want to work on partnership and not one-sided relationships," says Mike Nutter, TinCaps president.
