Crestview boys and girls dominate cross country meet with Blackford and Bluffton

Both the boys' and girl's cross country teams from Crestview Middle School dominated their respective competitions in a three-way meet with Blackford and Bluffton on Thursday, Oct. 1.

In the boys' race, Crestview ended with an almost-perfect score of 17. CMS took the top three places, as well as six of the top 10 positions overall.

Caleb Stoffel came in first in 12:03, to lead the meet. Alec Justice was right behind in second, Landon Underwood placed third, Tyler Henline ended in fifth and Dylan Mower wrapped up the scoring for Crestview in sixth.

Bluffton Middle ended with 54 points, and Blackford had 66.

The Crestview girls finished with a score of 24, and also took six of the top 10 slots.

Marissa Jamison took third overall in 13:23 to lead Crestview. Emily Eherenman placed fourth, Ashleigh Miller took fifth, Alexis Aldred ended in sixth and Corinne Zay placed eighth.

The Bluffton girls had 55 points, and Blackford ended with 59.
