Lady Vike spikers start season with sweep

Senior Jessie Drew had 12 kills and 11 blocks as the Huntington North High School varsity volleyball team swept past visiting Bluffton in three games, 25-20, 25-15, 25-15, on Monday, Aug. 19, in its season-opener.

Sophomore Alexa Hill had 22 assists to help move the offense, and senior Emiley Gray added seven kills, three aces and 10 digs.

Mikayla Carpenter was the defensive leader with 18 digs.
