The Seibold Special Horseshoe Tournament, featuring a trio of current and former world champion pitchers, will be held Saturday, Aug. 24, beginning at 2 p.m. at Memorial Park.
Spectators are welcome. In the event of rain, the tournament will be canceled.
The reigning world champion horseshoe pitcher, Ohio resident Alan Francis, is among the competitors. Francis averages 91 percent ringers.
Also competing are Herschel Walters, a three-time world champion; Huntington resident Mark Seibold, a two-time world champion; Amy Francis, of Ohio, and Julia Charlton, of Richmond, who have both played in the world championships; and Ted Sprinkle, of Kokomo.
