Second half surge lifts Lady Vike booters past Jay County

The Huntington North High School girls' varsity soccer team broke open a scoreless game with a series of goals in the second half of its game with visiting Jay County on Saturday, Aug. 24, winning 3-0.

The Lady Vikings, 2-1, got a pair of goals from junior Corinne Tester. Freshman Bailey Martin also scored, on an assist by Tester, for her fourth goal in three games.

Junior Aly Grabner assisted on one of Tester's scores.

Senior Paige Coolman made eight saves in goal for the shutout win.
