HNHS boys' soccer team falls to Manchester, 2-1

The Huntington North High School boys' varsity soccer team and host Manchester traded a goal apiece in the first half of their game on Saturday, Aug. 24, but the Squires had the final cheer as they scored a second half goal while shutting the Vikings out, sending them to a 2-1 defeat.
Huntington North, 0-2, got its goal from sophomore Zach Baldridge, off an assist from sophomore Aaron Webb.
Colin McNeeley and Caleb Haecker were Manchester's goal-scorers.
Senior Caleb Stoffel had five saves for the Vikings in the losing effort.
Huntington North won the junior varsity game, 3-0, with Johannes Bingham, Nathan Park and TJ Kratz each finding the back of the net.
Coming up with assists for the Vikings, 1-0-1, were Tanner Hildman, with one, and Jacob Vinson, with two.
