Crestview volleyball teams defeat Marion Justice

Crestview Middle School's eighth grade volleyball team defeated Marion Justice in two sets, with scores of 25-23, 25-12, on Thursday, Oct. 8.

Erin Rethlake led the offense for Crestview with 11 points and four aces. Carley McElhaney had seven points, two aces and one kill, and Jessica Drew had five points, three aces and two kills.

Thursday's game took the eighth-graders to a 4-8 season record.

The seventh grade volleyball team at Crestview also beat Marion Justice, but in three sets, with scores of 25-22, 22-25, 15-13.

Kenzie Stephan had 13 points, Monica Minton had eight points and Maggie Hollman had seven points.

The match brought team's record to 6-5 for the season.

Both teams will face Huntington Catholic at Crestview on Monday, Oct. 12.
