Baldridge paces HN soccer win

Zach Baldridge had a pair of goals and the defense didn't allow a shot on goal as the Huntington North High School boys' varsity soccer team blanked visiting Norwell, 4-0, on Monday, Aug. 26.

Tyler Henline scored the lone goal of the first half off an assist from Alex Hosler, and the Vikings, 1-2, put the game away with three goals in the second frame.

Baldridge, a sophomore, scored the first goal of the second half off a Tristan Smeltzer pass, then Danny Becker scored unassisted to give HNHS a 3-0 lead. Henline fed Baldridge for his second goal to push the score to its final appearance.

Sophomore Caleb Stoffel got credit for his first career shutout as the HNHS defense smothered the offense of Norwell, 0-2.
