Led by individual winner Cendall Ogle, the Huntington University women's cross country team claimed second place in the Lancer Invitational at Grace College on Saturday, Sept. 14

Despite her team battling injury, Cendall Ogle made sure the Forester women still had a solid outing by running a 19:17.30 to claim top honors out of 90 runners in the 5K.

Hannah Moore was the next Forester to cross the line, doing so in 20:07.80 for 10th place. Natalie Spahr placed 14th in 20:18.70, Marie Ditzler finished 19th in 20:30.70 and Krista Wood rounded out Huntington's scoring by running a 20:36.90 to claim 24th.

The Foresters were without Christine Sparks, the team's No. 3 runner in last week's race, while Gretchen Spahr, who didn't compete last week, ran a tempo in this race.

Indiana Wesleyan claimed the title with 28 points followed by HU with 51, Grace with 84, Goshen with 90, Bethel with 144, Saint Francis with 169 and IU-Kokomo with 212.
