Bellmont bounces HNHS from boys' tennis sectional

The Huntington North High School boys' tennis team was bounced out of the Norwell Sectional by Bellmont, 1-4, on Wednesday, Oct. 2, ending its season.
The first doubles duo of senior Matt Sieberns and junior Graham Sereno recorded the Vikings' lone win as they outlasted Logan Baker and Ryan Okoniewski, 5-7, 7-5, 6-2.
Senior Andrew Smith and freshman Nick May at second doubles also went three sets, but fell to Conner Hess and Benjamin Fullenkamp, 6-1, 3-6, 3-6.
In singles play, senior Tommy Bolinger at first singles fell to Evan Selking, 1-6, 1-6; senior Wyatt Nave suffered a 4-6, 3-6 setback to Robert Elherding in the second match; and senior Cameron Buzzard was dispatched by Austin O'Camp at third, 3-6, 1-6.
Huntington North ends the season at 4-13. The team will lose five players to graduation.
