Leichty throws four touchdown passes in Vikings' 41-7 rout

The Huntington North High School varsity football eclipsed the 40-point mark for the fourth time this season, routing host New Castle, 41-7, on Friday, Oct. 18.
Senior Keenan Leichty completed 17 of 32 passes for 213 yards and four touchdowns.
Leichty spread it around as senior Scott McClellan had four catches for 56 yards and a score, senior Kole Hale hauled in three passes for 30 yards and a pair of touchdowns and senior Brady Herr caught three balls for 38 yards and a score.
Charleston Dydasco rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown on 10 attempts. The senior also caught three passes for 23 yards.
Senior Wyatt Cocklin, junior Brady Hill and sophomore Jackson Cain had three solo tackles apiece for the Viking defense, which yielded only a touchdown to match its best effort of the season. Senior Riley Velez grabbed an interception and returned it for a touchdown.
Huntington North finishes the regular season at 5-4, 5-2 in the North Central Conference. The Vikings open sectional play at North Side on Nov. 1.
