The Crossroads League has announced its 2013-14 Men's Tennis All-Conference selections and among the list of honorees is Huntington University's top four players Vlad Khudziy, Joseph Straz- nicky, Jose Hungria and Diego Inurritegui.
This foursome combined for 44 wins against a mere three losses in the conference regular season on the way to guiding the team to a share of the regular season conference title along with Grace and Indiana Wesleyan.
Headlining the news is senior Vlad Khudziy who earned his fourth consecutive all-conference honor. The Moscow native is the league's top player as he went undefeated in league play at No. 1 singles with an unblemished 8-0 record to go along with a 7-1 record in doubles play.
Playing No. 2 singles and doubles, Joseph Straznicky was a dominant force at both spots in conference play. He teamed up with Diego Inurritegui at No. 2 doubles to go undefeated at 8-0 while dropping only one match in singles action for a 7-1 record.
An all-conference pick as a freshman, Hungria earned his second all-conference accolade this season. He has racked up his fair share of wins in conference play, boasting a perfect 7-0 record at No. 1 doubles and accumulating six wins against one loss at the No. 3 singles spot.
Inurritegui rounds out the all-conference honorees for HU. He went undefeated in conference play, posting eight wins at No. 4 singles and just as many at No. 2 doubles.
