Locals take on Wizards in fund-raiser

Local school and community representatives will go up against the Harlem Wizards on Dec. 4 to benefit the Huntington North High School athletics program.
The game starts at 7 p.m. in the HNHS gym.

The school's Athletic Booster Club will sponsor a chili and hot dog supper at the high school from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., just prior to the game.

The community team will include Huntington County Community Schools Superintendent Tracey Shafer, HNHS Principal Chad Daugherty, Flint Springs Elementary School Principal Aimee Lunsford, HNHS varsity boys' basketball coach Rob Irwin, HNHS dean of students Jami Craft, HNHS assistant principal Jane Bitting, Riverview Middle School teacher Cassie Grieves, HNHS teacher Kyle Daugherty, HNHS head football coach Trent Fine, HNHS special education teacher Marcus Moore, Huntington Mayor Brooks Fetters and Huntington Police Officer Pat Scher.

Tickets for the dinner and the game are now on sale at HNHS. Tickets will also be available the day of the game.
