Forester men bowlers 12 at Norse Classic

The Huntington University men's bowling team finished 12th at the 18-team Norse Collegiate Classic at Super Bowl Erlanger in Erlanger, KY, on Saturday, Feb. 8.
The Foresters rolled five regular games and 12 Baker games on a Broadway lane pattern, with Tyler Neff's five-game average of 195.2 leading the way, good for 20th overall out of 165 bowlers.
Seth Walker enjoyed a 190.0 average, good for 32nd. Adam Harris-Shoemaker was the only other Forester to roll all five games, taking 63rd with an average of 171.6.
Other bowlers for Huntington included Joe Miller, four-game average of 170; Derick Beckler, three-game average of 134.7; Connor Brown, two-game average of 204; and James Knapp, one game of 150.
The Foresters finished with a pin total of 6,599.
The top ten team finishes included Morehead State, 7,759; Pikeville, 7,696; Martin Methodist, 7,528; Spring Hill, 7,200; Cumberland, 7,102; Ohio State, 7,049; Illinois State, 7,009; Youngstown, 6,973; Emmanuel, 6,833; and Cincinnati, 6,820.
