HU men's bowling team has good weekend

The Huntington University men's bowling team beat 18 teams ranked above it on the way to finishing 36th out of 78 teams at the Backhaul Direct Hoosier Classic at Western Bowl, in Indianapolis, on Saturday, Feb. 15, and Sunday, Feb. 16.
The Foresters averaged 914 per game and made history in their second game when they rolled a 1,009 for the program's first team game over 1,000 pins..
Connor Brown carded a 195.1 average to place 50th out of 541 bowlers. Seth Walker posted an eight-game average of 191.0 to finish 182nd and Joe Miller averaged 182.9 over eight games to slide in at 201.
Other bowlers included Dan Miller, eight-game average of 174.9; James Knapp, four-game average of 179.3; Derek Beckler, four-game average of 178.8; Tyler Neff, three-game average of 162.0; and Adam Harris-Shoemaker, one game of 165.
