Huntington North senior Kyle Jolas capped off his high school wrestling career with a fifth place finish in the 160-pound weight class at the Indiana State Wrestling Tournament, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, in Indianapolis, on Saturday, Feb. 22.

After losing to Vinny Corsaro of Indianapolis Cathedral in the quarterfinals to drop to the consolation bracket, Jolas topped Maximilian Dole of East Central, 8-3, before edging North Montgomery's Nick Borta, 5-4, to capture fifth and end the season at 35-3.

Rhett Hiestand of Yorktown, who defeated Jolas in the title match at semi-state, won the state crown. The senior squeaked by previously unbeaten Corsaro with a 2-1 unanimous tiebreaker for the championship, running his record to 47-2.
