Several area organizations offering sign-ups for spring youth sports

Several area organizations are offering sign-ups for spring youth sports leagues.
Roanoke Youth Sports is offering three baseball leagues. T-ball is open to ages 4 to 5, coaches pitch is open to ages 6 to 8 and sand lot is open to ages 9 to 13.
When registering, parents or guardians should use a player's age as of May 1. Registration forms can be found at www.roanokeyouthsports.com and the registration deadline is Saturday, March 8.
Huntington County Baseball and Softball is offering baseball for boys and girls ages 6 to 18 and softball for ages 8 to 18. To register, visit www.huntingtoncountybaseball.org. The registration deadline is Sunday, March 9.
The Huntington Parks & Recreation Department is offering a co-ed youth soccer league for ages 3 to 17. Age divisions are 3-4, 5-7, 8-10, 11-14 and 15-17. Registration forms are available at the Parks Department and the registration deadline is Tuesday, March 11. For more information, call 358-2323.
The Huntington Police Athletic League is offering three baseball leagues: T-ball, coaches pitch and little league. Registration forms may be picked up at the Huntington Police Department or at the main entrance of the PAL building. To register online, visit www.huntingtonpal.net under the "baseball" heading. The registration deadline is Monday, March 24.
The Andrews Lions Club is offering three baseball and softball leagues: T-ball, coaches pitch and girls' softball. The leagues are for youth ages 4 to 12. When registering, parents or guardians should use a player's age as of May 1. Registration forms are available at the Lions Club building and will be accepted on Thursdays, March 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays, March 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. For more information, contact Dan Morgan at 359-2695 or Slim Fouts at 358-6748.
Markle Park is offering a T-ball and a coaches pitch league for boys and girls ages 4 to 7; a boys' instructional baseball league for ages 7 to 9; and girls' softball leagues for ages 9 and under, 12 and under and 14 and under.
