Three score two each as Lady Vikings win big in soccer opener

Three players scored a pair of goals apiece as the Huntington North High School girls' varsity soccer team blasted visiting East Noble, 8-1, on Tuesday, Aug. 19.

Junior Hannah Williams, sophomore Bailey Martin and freshman Hannah Tillett each found the back of the net twice and added an assist to get the Lady Vikings off to a flying start, despite the game being delayed by inclement weather.

Senior Corinne Tester and freshman Taylor Conley got the remaining HNHS goals, while freshman Karmen Koch had two assists and junior Meghan Underwood added one.

Senior goalie Natasha Grover stopped four of five shots on goal for the Lady Vikings.

The Lady Viking junior varsity won 1-0.
