HNHS boy bowlers crush Bluffton

The Huntington North High School boys' varsity bowling team crushed visiting Bluffton 18-2 on Saturday, Nov. 21, at Oak Lanes.

The Vikings easily swept the first game 1033-814. EJ Tackett led Huntington North with a 220. Gage VanDine had a 213, Tyler Neff had a 210, Adam Fruit had a 200 and Tyler Carroll took away a 190. All Viking bowlers won their respective individual matches during the first game.

The second game saw another Huntington North win with a score of 916-828. Tackett recorded a 216, Carroll had a 182, Neff took a 180, Connor Brown rolled a 178 and Van Dine took a 160. Tackett, Carroll and Brown all won their respective individual matches.

The varsity squad is now 2-0 on the season.

Huntington North's boys' junior varsity bowling team also defeated Bluffton 14-6. Tyler Krepp had a 185 and 178 and Adam Shoemaker added a 172.

The boys' bowling teams will visit Columbia City at Main Bowl in Columbia City on Dec. 1, at 4:30 p.m.
