Hosler scores 2 as Viking soccerboys shade Manchester

A pair of goals by Alex Hosler led the Huntington North boys' varsity soccer team to a 3-2 win over visiting Manchester on Saturday, Aug. 23.

Both squads did all of their scoring in the first half, with a goal by junior Trey Sorg accompanying Hosler's two shots to the back of the net as the Vikings improve to 1-0-1.

Coach Steve Saddington's squad finished with eight shots on goal, half of which came from Hosler. Freshman Mohamed Almalahi helped facilitate the offense with an assist.

Junior Preston Husband spelled fellow junior Cody Moriarity in goal in the second half, making five stops to protect Huntington North's lead. Moriarity recorded three saves and allowed the Squires' two first half scores.
