Another singles sweep helped the Huntington North High School boy's tennis team to a 4-1 win over host Norwell on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
The Vikings' No. 2 doubles team added to the win total as Huntington North climbed to 4-3 on the season.
Sophomore Nick May at first singles downed Bryant Barger, 6-2, 6-3, and senior Graham Sereno at second singles took a 6-3, 7-5 decision from Kyler Boots. Freshman Auden Eckert at third singles worked out a three-set win over Cody Shively, 6-3, 4-6, 6-1, to earn the HNHS singles sweep.
Senior Cameran Stuttle and sophomore Brent Kreiger topped Noah Tobias and Trevor Wilson, 6-3, 6-2, at second doubles for the remaining HNHS win.
The first doubles team of seniors Nathan Lundy and Hunter Phillips was beaten by Alex Hunter and Brandon Burch, 2-6, 0-6
Huntington North won three of the four junior varsity singles matches but lost all three of the doubles matches played.
Dane Eherenman beat Andrews Mater, 8-6; Matt Karst topped Alex Archambault, 8-4; and Matt York down Garrett Weybright, 8-4.
