Martin's second hat trick leads HNHS over Lutheran

Bailey Martin posted her second three-goal game of the season to lead the Huntington North girls' varsity soccer team over host Concordia Lutheran, 5-0, on Thursday, Sept. 4.

Martin, a sophomore, now has a team-high 10 goals on the season for the Lady Vikings, who improve to 6-2.

Coach Jeremy Steele's squad led by two after the first half, then found the back of the net three more times in the second to seal the win.

Senior Corinne Tester scored her seventh goal of the season and sophomore Courtney Christle booted her fourth to round out Huntington North's offensive output.

Senior Aly Grabner supplied two assists while Martin and freshmen Hannah Tillett and Taylor Conley each added one.

The shutout is the Lady Vikings' fifth of the year.
