Seven different players scored for the Huntington North girls' varsity soccer team in its 9-1 rout of visiting Anderson on Saturday, Sept. 13.

Senior Corinne Tester and freshman Hannah Tillett highlighted the Lady Vikings' offensive outburst with two goals apiece. Tester and Tillett have scored nine and 10 goals, respectively, on the year for Coach Jeremy Steele's squad, which runs its record to 7-2, 2-1 in the North Central Conference.

Huntington North led 4-0 before the Lady Indians, 0-7, 0-2 in conference, scored their first and only goal of the contest. The Lady Vikes regained their four-goal cushion when freshman Karmen Koch found the back of the net, sending the hosts into halftime with a 5-1 advantage. Four more goals for Huntington North in the second half capped the lopsided affair.

Other Lady Viking goal-scorers were senior Aly Grabner, junior Hannah Williams, sophomore Bailey Martin and freshman Taylor Conley. Martin's score was her 11th of the season, which leads the team.

Sophomore Courtney Christle was the top facilitator on offense, providing three assists. Tillett supplied two assists while Martin and Williams each added one.
